Hominids:
Archaeology:undiagnostic flakes
Important specimens: Pleistocene fauna, some with cutmarks. Ambrona was originally seen as important due to its indications of hunter, but later investigators have questioned the nature of the relationship of the modified bones to the hominids that modified them. Currently there is no consensus if it was hunting or scavenging. Originally connected temporally to Torralba (nearby), later dating has revised Ambrona as the older site.

Location: Masegar River, Spain
