Map location/coordinates reference: Location taken from drawing in Adam, K. D. (1954). Die mittelpleistozinen Faunen von Steinheim an der Murr (Württemberg). Quaternaria, 1, 131-144. This is much more accurate than other reported locations on the web, which generally either position the site in the rough center of Steinheim an der Murr or at the Steinheim museum.
